1. Data controller
GS-Soft develops and operates SUCCI and is the controller of the data described in this notice. Contact: info@gs-soft.it.
2. Data processed
Data you choose to submit
- Player name: the nickname entered for the leaderboard, up to 50 characters. If no valid name is provided, the service uses “Anonymous”.
Game and submission data
- score;
- level reached;
- whether all levels were completed;
- play time;
- submission date and time.
Technical data
The leaderboard API receives and stores the submitter's IP address with the score. It is not displayed publicly. It is used to limit repeated submissions from the same source and to protect the service from abuse.
3. Why the data is used
- to publish and rank scores on the global leaderboard;
- to calculate aggregate game statistics;
- to limit spam, automated submissions and other abuse;
- to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service.
The player name and result are processed because you choose to submit them for publication. Technical anti-abuse processing is based on GS-Soft's legitimate interest in protecting the leaderboard.
4. What becomes public
The leaderboard displays the player name, score, level reached, completion status and submission date. The IP address and play time are not displayed publicly.
5. Retention
Leaderboard entries are kept to preserve the ranking history until they are removed, including following a valid deletion request. Under the current implementation, the IP address remains associated with the entry even though only recent submissions are checked for rate limiting. GS-Soft is reviewing this storage to reduce the retention of IP data.
6. Recipients and transfers
Technical hosting and database providers may process data on behalf of GS-Soft to operate the service. GS-Soft does not sell leaderboard data or share it for targeted advertising. Information about any applicable international transfer safeguards can be requested at the contact address above.
7. Security
GS-Soft uses HTTPS, input validation, prepared database statements and submission limits. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
Where the GDPR applies, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. To identify a leaderboard entry, include the player name and approximate submission date in your request to info@gs-soft.it.
You may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, including the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
9. Children
Children should not submit a personally identifying player name. Where parental authorization is required by local law, a parent or guardian must authorize the submission. In Italy, children under 14 cannot independently provide consent for information-society services.
10. Cookies and website tracking
SUCCI's website and leaderboard do not currently set analytics, advertising or profiling cookies. See the website privacy and cookie policy for details. The mobile app may store local game data required for gameplay; that local app data is separate from website cookies.
11. Changes
This notice may be updated when the game, leaderboard or data processing changes. The date at the top identifies the latest revision.
